CSTP Growth & Developing as A Professional Educator

CSTP Growth

My professional growth goal at the beginning of the year was to mainly concentrate on classroom management through the use of student lead PBL. During this school year I was able to attend many professional development conferences as well as join the local Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) leadership team. Both helped me work toward my CSTP goals:

6.2 Establishing professional goals and engaging in

continuous and purposeful professional growth and

Development

6.3 Collaborating with colleagues and the broader

professional community to support teacher and student

Learning

6.5 Engaging local communities in support of the instructional

program

In comparing the Initial and Final assessment I realized how much I have grown become more knowledgeable, and more confident as an educator. Refer to the links below.

Developing as a professional Educator:

During this year I have not only had the Opportunity to attend conferences and learn from other science teacher, I have also recently completed my Masters Degree in Education.
